A VISION THAT STARTED IN 1985

Worth a visit

Master Interior, former Master Meubel, transcends the outdated idea of a furniture store. Founded in 1985 as a family business, grown into a European reference for exclusive design furniture.

In Turnhout you can find our impressive 7000 m² showroom, housed in a modern building designed by Lou Jansen. The space breathes light and peace, and creates the perfect decor for more than 300 carefully selected design brands. The presentation surprises every time, with inspiring combinations of colors, materials and styles. Thanks to regular updates and temporarily sale events every visit stays unique.

Behind the scenes a team of 45 Masters daily work on custom projects: from furniture restoration, spraying and upholstery to customized window decoration. Our own ateliers create a personal and masterful interior story time and time again.

Architecture

The building with big glass panels that lets in all the day light dates from 1968 and is a unique representation of the “Turnhoutse School’ that developed a whole own appearance within the late modernism. Enthusiasts can discover more in our museum corner upstairs in the showroom.

‘Design’ is the DNA of Master Interior and that expresses itself in a beautiful designed plateau where all the grandmasters – the ‘Masters’ – of the modern design are being displayed with their most known design items. At the ‘Master Gallery’, guided tours and workshops are being organized. We really focus on the importance of the authenticity of every design.
