Homely working from home and lounging with warm design.
“These clients wanted to make their home office feel more homely,” says Master interior architect Isabelle. “This way, they could work even more comfortably.” The beautiful view of the garden was, of course, preserved. “By using oak wood, we brought in even more natural warmth.” The cabinet is a combination of open and closed spaces. “This way, the books are beautifully visible, and office supplies can be conveniently stored.” The Medina rug from Nanimarquina adds color and playfulness to the office space.
The clients asked to tackle one more space. “This space is located between the sitting area and the dining room,” explains Isabelle. “In this lounge area, they can now enjoy aperitifs or quietly read, without losing contact with the family members in the other spaces.” Isabelle and the clients chose a half-height Minotti Bellagio Lounge table and two Cassina Biki armchairs. “A round table and rounded armchairs to facilitate circulation in this central lounge area.” For the beautiful lighting, a Moooi Heracleum pendant light, Baltensweiler Topoled floor lamp, and a Brokis Muffins table lamp were combined. “Finally, the Porro Modern cabinet and the JOV Soft add color and coziness to this space.”
