Port Grimaud is a coastal town in the south of France, just a few kilometers from the world-famous Saint Tropez. It was built on lagoons and swamps, connected by idyllic canals and bridges. You will find restaurants and cafes along the water, the perfect background for a delicious glass of wine.
“These customers asked me to have a look at their plans,” says Britt Van Namen. “We designed the interior in just a few weeks. The realization was carried out in the spring. This way, the customers could already enjoy their new interior during the summer.”
Organic and airy
The country retreat consists of three floors of 40 square meters each. The assignment was therefore to use the available space creatively. “We are in France, so outside we chose a large dining table from the Gio outdoor collection from B&B Italia. The Erica chairs by Antonio Citterio fit in perfectly.”
Britt also opted for organic, airy shapes inside. The slightly curved Poliform Saint-Germain sofa seems tailor-made for the living room, Zeitraum Morph barstools were placed at the kitchen island. The customers also chose a walnut Artisan Neva chair, and a Barrell 60 ottoman from Design On Stock.
Cooperation
For Britt, working with Master Interior is a no-brainer. “I have my office in Turnhout so of course I know Master. I started with smaller projects but now I create total experiences. Master Interior is the ideal partner for these.”
Britt visited our showroom a number of times together with her customers. “To see the furniture but also fabric samples. This made it easier for them to make their decisions. Also afterwards we could count on Master. For example, all delivery times were respected. The perfect collaboration, in short.”
