Light and space
The high ceilings and tall windows fill this home with light and give it a maximum sense of space. The poured floor creates unity and contrasts beautifully with the warm, homely atmosphere of the smoked oak wall panelling. For the interior, Master interior architect Isabelle worked together with the Antwerp interior architecture practice studio8.
In the room with the fireplace at the rear, the choice fell on a Cassina Moov sofa. The light, airy design by Piero Lissoni keeps the view completely open onto the fields and greenery beyond.
In the adjoining television corner, separated from the main space by a wooden wall and a lower ceiling, the choice fell instead on the space-filling Linteloo Hamptons. Its comfortable cushions add an extra layer of warmth, and the light tone of the sofa contrasts with the wooden walls around it.
Earthy and warm, like nature itself
The robust e15 Fayland table was originally designed for a project in the English countryside. It is perfectly suited, then, to bringing out the natural surroundings here and giving the whole an earthy, warm character. The light Vitra Wire Chairs lend the space a playful, open feel.
Opposite the Fayland stands the open Wind cabinet by Rimadesio, chosen so that the beautiful natural walls remain visible. Filling the cabinet with objects in soft colours creates a fresh palette.
In the breakfast corner stands a Vitra Guéridon. The strong lines of this round table, with its distinctive legs, mean you can enjoy the view and the surrounding nature from every seat. It also provides enough counterweight to the kitchen, finished in smoked oak with a concrete worktop.
